Fresh Festival is an exciting new date in the Business Festival programme that aims to enthuse and inspire a young generation of business entrepreneurs. Fresh Festival is aimed at 16 – 30 year olds and is being held at The apex on 14th September 2012.

Fresh Festival aims to celebrate the imagination, diversity and creativity of young entrepreneurs in the Eastern Region and will showcase the sheer depth and breadth of alternative options to full time employment. 

This new and dynamic event will definitely NOT be Business as Usual; it is set to challenge the notion of 9 – 5, and showcase the very best of creative, quirky, unusual and mainstream business. Artisans, creative media, music entrepreneurs, fashion, food, digital applications, and live performers will all be present. Many of the contributors juggle a number of different roles and are creative and flexible about employment opportunities.

Youth unemployment is at the highest level recorded in Britain, this can be particularly damaging for young people today.  Fresh Festival aims to counteract some of the hopelessness young people feel, It  is set to inspire and explore hidden talents and create optimism in the young people who visit the event.

Fresh Festival will be a destination event for the target audience and aims to capture the imaginations of all who attend. The wide range of activities on offer will include hands-on creativity, seminars, workshops and musical performances. A human search engine of entrepreneurs will be available.

The event will be divided into zones which will fit into three themes:
Connect – Discover - Innovate.
